I am extremely happy with the work David did at my wedding. He was prompt, professional, very responsive, and understanding. I had many of my guests compliment David's work.

David was just amazing from beginning to end. When I met David my fiancé and I had already met with several DJ’s. We had been disappointed by the lack of knowledge of the music from my culture. David knew exactly what I wanted from the very first day. Furthermore he demonstrated his professionalism by altering the father-daughter dance song for me. He was able to mix the song in both English and Spanish. This completely blew me away and brought tears to my eyes. During the wedding he surpassed all of my expectations. He was very professional and was able to play the music that guests liked (guests from various cultures and ages). The up lighting was perfect and the monogram was just amazing. Thank you David for being a part of our special day; it would not have been the same without you.

David did our wedding, and everything was great. Our guests had an amazing time, and we received so many compliments from our guests on our music choice. He helped us a lot throughout the planning process, and his on-line planner was very useful. He also recommended some fun games to play, and we had so much fun with the games that we picked, which turned out to be the best part of our wedding. Highly recommend!

David made everything so easy and stress free. He was amazing and we "Loved" the selection of music that he played when we told him a little bit of what we liked. Everyone at our reception that he was great.

I have a lot of good stuff to say and don't know where to begin. David is SUPERB. Patient, Organized, Attentive to details, Affordable and Devoted. He left a great immpression on us. Talk about a vendor who is stress free - David was on top of his game. He does have a busy schedule, but I always got a response within 24 hours email/call. Every idea I suggested, he welcomed it and NEVER shut it done or said it was impossible, he made EVERYTHING happen. Besides providing us with great music which led every guest (yep, every single guest - young and old) on the dance floor for hours; he also helped me with my wedding games, a video recording for my mom, special videos put together for all the special dances that day. He blew everyone away with his master piece. Personally, I can't talk about my wedding without talking about David, he made me feel special, he didn't disappoint me and he allowed me to dream whatever I wanted and he made it happen. Alot of vendors out there don't understand that 'a wedding day' means everything to the Bride & Groom and prepartions leading up to this great day also matters. So every once in a while when a great and devoted person like David comes your way, trust me - You want to tell the whole world about it. My husband and I raved so much about David on our honey in Bora Bora & Moorea to other couples we met and you could tell they wished they had "a David" in their home town. It was funny when David thanked us for allowing him to be part of our wedding - If any of you come across him in town or use his services (which we highly recommend), tell him the Bufords said to tell him, HE ROCKS and we ought to thank him for choosing to be a part of our big day. David was awesome everything came out amazing, we had a venue change just days before the wedding and David was able to help us out with some additional lighting at a great rate. The lightining was much needed and made the night thst much more fabulous. He did a fantastic job with the music selection and made sure to play everything we requested. His website is super helpful and easy and David is super friendly. We would recommend him to anyone!

David did a fantastic job as our DJ/MC at our wedding last October. He gave us a very good first impression at our initial meeting. He is extremely organized and very professional. PLANNING: David was incredibly helpful throughout the planning process and was very prompt and thorough with all correspondence. The online planner was awesome! It allows you to fill in every little detail about your event. It includes a database where you can browse through all of his music and make specific song selections. He even has great recommendations for fun games to play. One week before our wedding he was very accommodating in scheduling a phone meeting to go over the final schedule and details of our wedding. WEDDING DAY: David did an amazing job working with our venue coordinator to keep everything running smoothly and on schedule. The music during our ceremony was perfect. His expertise in song selection helped set the perfect tone during cocktail hour and dinner. During dancing, David was very attuned to our guests in order to make the appropriate song selections to keep everyone on the dance floor. He did a fantastic job with all of the announcements and introductions. His voice is very clear and professional sounding. He did a wonderful job coordinating and leading the games we selected during the reception. Pricing is very reasonable compared to several other DJs we looked into. Highly recommended if you're looking for a true professional to DJ your next event!

Mike and I would definitely recommend David. We're so happy we chose SoundWave. David was extremely professional and detail oriented. He left you feeling comfortable and confident that things were going to be great. So reassuring since there are so many other vendors to worry about. I felt the most confident about David. I also liked that there was an online planning tool on his website.We had so much fun at the reception! People danced the whole night :)

We are so grateful to everyone who wrote amazing reviews about David! That’s the reason we hired him for our 25th Wedding Anniversary Dance Party Fundraiser! He was EXACTLY what we were hoping for and MORE!!! He really brought our party to life. David is very professional. He knows exactly what’s needed to give your event the flavor you are looking for. In our case, we wanted to turn a school gym into a night club. David’s amazing light show and special affects were fun & exciting. He really transformed the event. He also produced an incredible slideshow, put to music with captions, for us. So many people are coming by to tell us that they were so moved by our slide show. It was the highlight of an amazing event! Oh, and David also took some photos of our dance, which he posted on Facebook. They are some of our favorites of the night! He helped with the planning, gave advice on song choices, provided a time line, and pretty much RAN MY WHOLE WEDDING no exaggeration! I don't know what I would have done without him. We were so lucky to find David when we were looking for a DJ for our multicultural wedding. He was very flexible and accommodating. We were able to create a custom package that would fit our needs and our budget. We received great professional service from David which made working with him very easy. David was the only DJ we met with when we were looking for a DJ/MC for our wedding. We had a good instinct about him and we thought his prices were reasonable. His website allows you to choose the songs you want to be played in your wedding and it is not limited to the songs in his database (you can add songs that are not found). Throughout our preparations, we were in constant contact with David to ask him questions, and he was very responsive. Two days before our wedding, he realized that our First Dance song was a live version (it has clapping in the background). He suggested another version of the song, which was not to our liking. We asked if there is any way the clapping can be removed. We started to panic a little because we had already practiced our first dance to that version of the song. But David pulled off a miracle and made the clapping disappear! I don't know how he did it but it came out perfect! We appreciate the work he did for this, as our first dance is very important to us. David also provided MC services. He called us a few days before the wedding to confirm pronunciation of the names of our bridal party. He also contacted us to confirm the timing of the different songs we wanted to be played during the ceremony. David understands music and reads the crowed very well. He played all the right songs that everybody loves and kept the party flowing! All of our guests loved all the music he played and had a great time! We will never forget the great quality of service he provided in our wedding day and we appreciate all the hard work and effort he put in to make it a perfect day for us.

David is the go to DJ for your wedding needs. His attention to your needs is fantastic! David took everything I said and made sure it happened. David answers any questions you have and gives great suggestions. We had David do a slide show for us and we have gotten many people saying how wonderful and how well put together the slide show was. I loved working with David and loved the fact that I didn't need to worry about anything. I knew David would take care of it all. It was so great working with David for our wedding. We needed someone who would be able to play good portuguese music (since almost everyone invited to our wedding was portuguese) but also be able to play latin and american music. He was able to handle that without an issue, and you could tell he got a feel for the type of crowd we had and did an awesome job picking music everyone would like. He did such a great job that friends of ours were asking for his card at the end of the night. And he was even nice enough to make my mom a CD of some of the songs that she really liked that he played at our wedding. If you are looking for a d.j, than David is your guy!!! We couldn't be happier with the great job he did.

I came to this guy with no idea what I was doing, and he was just so helpful and organized. He has a lot of experience so he had a lot of good suggestions to help me plan out, not just my music, but also some of the time-line that is needed for a wedding. He really just went above and beyond what I expected. He was also okay with doing a lot of this thru email, which I am more coherent with than thru a phone conference [tho we did those as well]...he's just an all around flexible and helpful guy. David is very professional and flexible, and he delivered a great slideshow of our childhood photos and a FUN reception. Everyone told us they had a blast, we had a blast, and the dance floor was completely packed from the minute it opened to everyone until the end. David was very patient and accommodating when we kept changing plans, and he really carried the reception as I didn't have anyone else in charge of moving through the schedule. I loved his online wedding planning tools, including a searchable database of all his music. Hiring David made the reception much more fun and much less stressful than trying to arrange everything myself with "DJ iPod."
