David made everything so easy and stress free. He was amazing and we "Loved" the selection of music that he played when we told him a little bit of what we liked. Everyone at our reception that he was great.

David was awesome everything came out amazing, we had a venue change just days before the wedding and David was able to help us out with some additional lighting at a great rate. The lightining was much needed and made the night thst much more fabulous. He did a fantastic job with the music selection and made sure to play everything we requested. His website is super helpful and easy and David is super friendly. We would recommend him to anyone!

He was EXACTLY what we were hoping for and MORE!!! He really brought our party to life. David is very professional. He knows exactly what’s needed to give your event the flavor you are looking for. In our case, we wanted to turn a school gym into a night club. David’s amazing light show and special affects were fun & exciting. He really transformed the event. He also produced an incredible slideshow, put to music with captions, for us. So many people are coming by to tell us that they were so moved by our slide show. It was the highlight of an amazing event! Oh, and David also took some photos of our dance, which he posted on Facebook. They are some of our favorites of the night! We were so lucky to find David when we were looking for a DJ for our multicultural wedding. He was very flexible and accommodating. We were able to create a custom package that would fit our needs and our budget. We received great professional service from David which made working with him very easy. David was the only DJ we met with when we were looking for a DJ/MC for our wedding. We had a good instinct about him and we thought his prices were reasonable. His website allows you to choose the songs you want to be played in your wedding and it is not limited to the songs in his database (you can add songs that are not found). Throughout our preparations, we were in constant contact with David to ask him questions, and he was very responsive. Two days before our wedding, he realized that our First Dance song was a live version (it has clapping in the background). He suggested another version of the song, which was not to our liking. We asked if there is any way the clapping can be removed. We started to panic a little because we had already practiced our first dance to that version of the song. But David pulled off a miracle and made the clapping disappear! I don't know how he did it but it came out perfect! We appreciate the work he did for this, as our first dance is very important to us. David also provided MC services. He called us a few days before the wedding to confirm pronunciation of the names of our bridal party. He also contacted us to confirm the timing of the different songs we wanted to be played during the ceremony. David understands music and reads the crowed very well. He played all the right songs that everybody loves and kept the party flowing! All of our guests loved all the music he played and had a great time! We will never forget the great quality of service he provided in our wedding day and we appreciate all the hard work and effort he put in to make it a perfect day for us.

David is the go to DJ for your wedding needs. His attention to your needs is fantastic! David took everything I said and made sure it happened. David answers any questions you have and gives great suggestions. We had David do a slide show for us and we have gotten many people saying how wonderful and how well put together the slide show was. It was so great working with David for our wedding. We needed someone who would be able to play good portuguese music (since almost everyone invited to our wedding was portuguese) but also be able to play latin and american music. He was able to handle that without an issue, and you could tell he got a feel for the type of crowd we had and did an awesome job picking music everyone would like. He did such a great job that friends of ours were asking for his card at the end of the night. And he was even nice enough to make my mom a CD of some of the songs that she really liked that he played at our wedding. If you are looking for a d.j, than David is your guy!!! I came to this guy with no idea what I was doing, and he was just so helpful and organized. He has a lot of experience so he had a lot of good suggestions to help me plan out, not just my music, but also some of the time-line that is needed for a wedding. He really just went above and beyond what I expected.He was also okay with doing a lot of this thru email, which I am more coherent with than thru a phone conference [tho we did those as well]...he's just an all around flexible and helpful guy.If you're reading this, David, you freaking rock. David was the DJ/MC for our March 26th wedding. He was absolutely awesome. Very reliable and very responsive. He took into account our needs and met our requests without hesitation. David is very professional and flexible, and he delivered a great slideshow of our childhood photos and a FUN reception. Everyone told us they had a blast, we had a blast, and the dance floor was completely packed from the minute it opened to everyone until the end. David was very patient and accommodating when we kept changing plans, and he really carried the reception as I didn't have anyone else in charge of moving through the schedule. I loved his online wedding planning tools, including a searchable database of all his music. Hiring David made the reception much more fun and much less stressful than trying to arrange everything myself with "DJ iPod."

David Gomes is the owner/operator and he was the best DJ I have seen in a long while. From our first telephone call to first meeting to reception, to last dance, he was the complete professional and really made our celebration a perfect success and golden memory.His understanding of multi-ethnic culture and traditions, enabled us to feel comfortable about not having awkward, embarassing moments with our parents. He can work the DJ, do the emcee thing, and even entertain. He has a good feel of the crowd, yet attentive to what we wanted to have him play. He definitely made it about us and not turn it into a rave or dance club (though his beats were spot on) I loved his choice of music because his research and info gathering were top notch. He had an online-planner that even helped me with my timeline. He worked with my two emcees, but excelled when it was his turn to move things along.I just wish that more people could have stayed later to enjoy the end. My bride and I didn't leave until the very last song and David made us feel that we were the only ones on the dance floor at certain moments.His lighting and sound system was amazing, the uplight and color washes setting the perfect ambience for our theme. the Starry Night Sky was incredible to dance under.His advice and suggestions were so appreciated and showed his professionalism and experience in his field. The one thing we wanted was a DJ who felt he was part of the celebration and not just a hired hand.David delivers service above and beyond his cost. Yet his cost is so reasonable! He offers so much for what we paid for. I would have ended up spending hundreds more from two other vendors for what David provided. Plus David gave us the one-on-one attention and guidance we definitely needed.David's level of communication was excellent. He was responsive either by email or phone. His handling of payment (even when I forgot an added expense) was more than polite.I would recommend David any time and I'm sure I'll use his services again myself.

OMG! Everything turned out perfect! From prompt email communications to follow up, everything was a smooth process for us. David delivered every moment from creating our slideshow and custom monogram for the dancefloor to doing the uplights for our event. David was a major player in making our wedding day absolutely perfect! He is a gifted DJ and an absolute professional. All of our guests raved about the song selections and musical flow of the night. I am very happy to write a review for David. David was our DJ for our wedding on September 25, 2010. Meeting with David we thought he was very nice, accomendating, and professional. Throughout the months of planning the wedding David would send me emails asking how things were going. I thought it was very considerate. His website was very helpful with information that includes a timeline, and a range of song selections. I asked David if he could help me selecting Portuguese songs to dance with our parents. He is very prompt in returning emails and phone calls. A week prior to the wedding we went through all the final details. I felt very assured.The day of the wedding David greeted us outside to Congratulate us and arrange the bridal party for the big entrance. When I walked in I was amazed how wonderful the reception looked with the reset lighting and the monogram. I can't say anything bad about David he has great mic presence, works well with other vendors, followed the timeline, dressed professional, and most importantly keeping our guests on the dance floor all night long. We received a lot of compliments about David. He has the experience of when and what songs to play. David did a amazing job in providing American and Portuguese music.
