It was an absolute pleasure working with Brian. From the moment we met him, we had an immediate sense that he had the right mix of professionalism and sincerity to craft a ceremony that would feel formal enough and yet personal enough to meet our needs. He listened attentively to the story of how we met and how our individual paths had led us to each other. The insightfulness that was reflected in the way he crafted his introduction to our vows astounded us both! We felt we could not have done a better job ourselves in describing what makes our relationship unique. It is clear that Brian not only has the experience that distinguishes a seasoned professional but also a special gift of vision and cultivated compassion that naturally lends itself to the work of an officiant. Brian did an awesome job! He made everything so easy. He found us the perfect place on the beach to get married, conducted a real professional interview and, structured his presenation around who we are and our relationship. He even provided us with a complete copy of our ceremony so that we can review it for years to come. We highly reccomend Brian to officiate one of the most important days in a couples life.

We couldn't have been happier with our officiant, Brian Lyke! We were from out of town so finding an officiant seemed like a daunting task. When we first met with Brian, we were both struck by his kindness and his genuine interest in us. We booked him right away and we are so glad that we did! His ceremony was beautiful and our guests had nothing but good things to say.

Our wedding ceremony was beautiful. The location was perfect. Brian's remarks were eloquent and fitting. I can't think of anything that could have made it better ... We felt that everything Brian did was exactly as we wanted. As our officiant, he took the time to do the most professional job I could imagine. When I was at a loss to make decisions, he listened to our ideas and gave us fitting counsel. In my dreams, I could not have hoped for a more perfect setting and ceremony. If I didn't know better, I would think he had prescribed the weather. Brian made this such a happy occasion for us, I cannot imagine a more beautiful wedding day to add to our memories.

Simply put Brian Lyke was awesome. We had numerous comments that Brian's service was the best that anyone had seen at a wedding. He did exactly as we had asked as far as the amount of religious reference we wanted and quoted many of the items we had shared in our interview with him. Brian will always have a special place in our hearts.... Do yourself a favor and interview Brian before you select another officiant.

Brian Lyke exceeded my expectations on my wedding day. We met only once in person and immediately I felt confident and comfortable with the fact he knew just what we wanted out of our ceremony and really got a feeling for what we were all about as a couple. He stayed in good contact with me up until my wedding day and was prompt and precise for the rehearsal. He took the information and suggestions of our vision and created the most fitting and beautiful ceremony we could have ever asked for. He included our requests and added a few special touches that were priceless. I will be recommending Brian to everyone I meet who is looking to be married by a professional, polished, caring, and positive officiant. He made our ceremony one of a kind and everybody loved it!

Amazing!!! With a few emails and a brief meeting, Brian made our ceremony so special, personal, and memorable. He responded quickly to questions and was very patient with my fiance and I. It was such a joy to have him there!!!

Planning a beach wedding in Carmel from our home in the UK was no easy feat but Brian made the whole process so smooth and easy. From our initial email contact we knew we were in good hands and that was confirmed when we were lucky enough to meet up with Brian in London at the beginning of the year. He asked us lots of questions so that he could really get to know us and our personalities and also so that he'd have some personal details to include in the ceremony. He was always at the end of an email to answer any questions we had and genuinely wanted to make sure the ceremony was perfect for us. Brian was incredibly accommodating and even met us the day before the wedding on the beach in Carmel to help us choose the perfect spot and to go over the order for the ceremony. On the day itself, he put everyone at ease and delivered such a beautiful service with exactly the right amount of humour and seriousness! We are so pleased that we chose Brian to be part of the most important day of our lives and would definitely recommend him. I came across Brian's website while searching for officiants here on Wedding Wire. I emailed him immediately because everything in his website resonated with the type of ceremony we wanted .... personalized to capture the essence of who we are as individuals and as a couple, but also incorporate those we love the most: our families and friends. Brian is very articulate, personable and just wonderful to work with. We had a destination wedding, so most of our communication was long distance (email/phone). We had individual phone calls with Brian and then we met in person about 6 weeks before the day. He asked many question about us, our relationship and how we wanted the ceremony to turn out. He really got us and was able to put together one of the most amazing ceremonies I've ever been to and I'm so happy that it was ours :) We didn't change anything in it. It was romantic, touching and fun!! Our friends and family were extremely impressed and said that they actually listened to every word in the ceremony and it truly captured who we are. Thank you Brian for making our special day so unforgettable... you will forever be in our hearts!

We have all the best to say about Rev Brian Lyke. He is fantastic. From the moment that we met him, he was very kind, professional, and responsive to our needs. In our introductory 1 hour chat, he gave great insight into how the ceremony could be performed and ensured that we incorporated our friends and family into the service (very important for both of us). He was in frequent communication via e-mail afterwards, and sent us a great list of readings and vows in which to choose from. He provided fantastic recommendations throughout this process. He arrived early both at the rehearsal and wedding, and calmed our (and our family's) nerves about the ceremony. Both the rehearsal and wedding went off fantastically - we couldn't have asked for a better service. Rev Brian was genuine, respectful, humorous, and very thoughtful throughout the day! Our families loved him - and we couldn't asked for a better officiant for our wedding - making our days so special. Thank you so much, Rev Brian! You are fantastic!

Not only were we pleased with Brian's flexibility of material to be used in the ceremony, he provided us with a number of reading that we could choose to include. Even though Brian was "only" our officiant, he helped us with everything we needed for our dream wedding! So he was also our wedding planner without any additional expenses. This was was very helpful for us especially as we are a couple from Germany, so it was kind of difficult to organise everything from abroad. But not only Brian was the best officiant anyone could want, he is a warm hearted, helpful and lovely person we're proud to call our friend now! We hope we will never marry again and our relationship will last forever, but if we would we would certainly ask Brian again to be our officiant. Looking forward to our renewal with Brian on our side!
