Erin is very sweet and helpful. I hired her for month-of planning. She helped me track down vendors when we had problems reaching them, and helped me get a hold of a very MIA hair and makeup lady. She was very diplomatic. She let me contact her and helped me out long before the month of. Overall, she was a big stress reliever the month-of, especially since I had a lot going on in my life at the time. For a couple of weeks, I asked her to handle everything and keep me from getting phone calls, and she did a great job of that. A couple of issues. She and her assistant disappeared during the reception and spent much of the time in a back room out of sight. I'm sure she wanted to be "behind the scenes" so that the focus was on us, but I had to go and find her when I needed her help. She also forgot my day-of bridal emergency kit, which fortunately I did not need. Also, one of my bridesmaids asked her a question via e-mail the week of the wedding and she didn't get back to her, which meant I had to field the question. However, I may have been out of line asking her to be a point person for guests since this wasn't part of her list of assigned duties. If I hadn't had a couple of big life events the month of the wedding, I probably would have just gone for day-of services.

We used Allora Event Designs for the "day of" coordination of our daughter's wedding (75 guests). The owner, Erin, is an angel. She is extremely calm, cheerful, knowledgeable, and flexible. She and her staff worked tirelessly, seamlessly, and very professionally to make our daughter's wedding day extra-special. No detail was too small to warrant their full attention and they even made me feel relaxed and pampered - no small feat for a very anxious MOB. I would highly recommend Allora Event Designs. I will certainly use them again for any future events of any type or scale.
