We were lucky to have Betty as our photographer. She was very on top of things and kept us moving with things that had to be done. She was very creative with our pictures and I can't wait to see them. She really knew what she was doing and even explained why she was changing the lens for certain shots which made me really confident in her skills. API was also really responsive to emails and phone calls. Very quick and friendly. Definitely would recommend API to get photos done, for any occasion.

They were amazing in all areas. They kept us in the loop and had great communication throughout!!! Betty was our personal photographer and she did a great job!!!!!

Aaron and his team are fabulous to work with. My husband had a blast planning with them. They were totally flexible with us and super creative and traditional. We had our engagement photos, wedding photos, and video done by API. Our family and friends are blown away by the quality of the photos. Great job! Our wedding took place May 29th of this year and were very fortunate to have Alysen from A Perfect Impression as our photographer. She is a topnotch photographer; profesional, friendly and incredibly artistic. We love our pictures, and are still recieving emails from friends and family who feel the same way. During the entire event, she was very pleasant, and friendly amongst us and our guest. My husband and I met with several other different photographers before choosing A Perfect Impression and we know their prices are very reasonable for the wonderful work they do. We asked for romantic, tradtional family and journalistic and got just that. Now I understand, when past brides would tell me, choosing a great photographer is so important, it really is all you have left to help you relive the wonderful feelings and memories of that day. I would definatley recommend A perfect Impression to my family and friends and also hire them myself for other special events.

Our DJ, Matt Collins, did a fabulous job!! We had some concerns about the DJ since we had experienced some awful ones at other weddings we had been to, so our expectations were low! He was AWESOME! Not only did he arrange to meet with us to pick up the CD of ceremony music we were providing, just to make sure everything loaded into his system properly prior to the big day, but also on the day of he was an exceptional master of ceremonies! He was the perfect balance of professionalism and fun. He followed all of our special requests and took charge of everything else, guiding our celebration perfectly throughout the evening! He was a huge hit with all of our guests too! He created many wonderful memories for us that without him we would not have! Thank you so much Matt!

Aaron and his staff have been very accomodating over the entire wedding process. He has worked very hard to get all the details set for both pre and post wedding photography. The office staff is always available to answer questions and they all seem to enjoy what they do. The pictures from API are unique and capture the mood of each wedding. I was very happy with my pictures.

I cannot say enough good things about Aaron and his team at A Perfect Impression. I knew from the moment I clicked on their site that they would be the perfect photographers for what I wanted. My husband and I are not the most natural picture takers, and I wanted "artsy" photos that were not the run of the mill. We got married on a golf course, and they were completely open to our ideas, and turned them into fantastic pictures. For example, my husband really wanted a picture of me holding his golf bag and cheering while he hit the ball (one of his few requests for the wedding) along with some golf shots with him and his groomsmen hitting balls off the cliff at Crystal Springs Golf Course. We met with Aaron and chatted for almost 3 hours! The two photographers that were sent on that day were amazing and captured moments and emotions that I relive every time I look at the photos. My advice would be to BE HONEST about what you are looking for, if you dont want a ton of pictures of you kissing and tons of PDA, say that, if you want quirky colorful pictures, interesting angles, etc explain what you want. I had our pictures available online within A WEEK, which is superhumanly fast compared to what my friends have gone through. The hardest part is deciding which ones you want, and to be honest, 6 months later, I am still lagging. However, I did purchase the negatives and have the photos on a CD, so I have been able to print out a couple. I look forward to finishing my order and getting all those frames we got as gifts filled! I would recommend API to ANYONE having an event, not just a wedding. They are a quality, respectable company with genuinely sincere and talented people who are creative and skilled enough to capture moments that you experience once in a lifetime.

What can we say about Ken other than he was perfect... excellent variety of music, kept everything going and was ready to move things around when we needed them moved. Ken is on the top of our list anytime we need DJ services in the future!

Aaron was a pleasure to work with and delivered amazing photos that we will cherish for the rest of our lives! We feel like he captured the evening perfectly! We also got great engagement photos! I can't say enough nice things, highly recommended.

This is a great team. Aaron and his staff are professional, efficient, and non-intrusive. The pictures they took were amazing! We got a mix of romantic and fun shots, as well as all our family and friends. I would totally use A Perfect Impression again, and I've recommended them to many of my friends.

I can not say enough great things about Ben and Allison our photographers. They made the whole photo taking process fun, easy and it went so smoothly! I am not one who loves the camera, nor do I feel it loves me lol, but they made us so comfortable, I love 99% of the 858 photos they posted for us! I would use them for any event, and recommend them to anyone. Manager Aaron is awesome as well and a fast responder if you need anything!

My hubby and I were married in Los Gatos with a reception in downtown San Jose, but the API team were soooo generous in accommodating us! They made the day easy and relaxed, and perfectly captured my family's goofy side, while still succeeding in some truly incredible photos. I could not have asked for a more easy going yet professional team. They made me feel beautiful despite my self-consciousness, and took hardly any time at all in setting all of us at ease. And then there was their help and understanding through all our fiascos with putting together and printing the album, as my husband and I moved three times in one year. They never let us down and I am forever grateful for having them on what was truly a special day. (their video team also did our wedding video, and I can equally rave about that!--esp. since I gave them no guidance whatsoever. It came out soooo lovely :) I would happily go back to them again and again and hopefully will do so in the future for some post-wedding photos down the line. I cannot rave enough about how great API was! Any future client would be very happy with their service! :) THANK YOU API!!!

Our wedding was May of 2009 at Wedgewood, Eagle Ridge in Gilroy. We met with Aaron at a convenient location a few months prior to discuss the style of our wedding and the types of shots we wanted. I was extremely impressed with his sample photos we saw that day, and the variety of options available for print - whether modern and funky, more traditional albums, or super contemporary magazine-style layouts. We opted for all the essential shots: family group photos, wedding party, ceremony, cocktail hour, reception, cake cutting, first dance, bouquet toss, etc. I was amazed by how professional Aaron and his staff were not only in the planning process (and quick with emails!), but on the day of as well. It was only until watching the video did we notice Aaron there taking photos of us during the ceremony - during the actual day of, we didn't even notice him, that's how non-intrusive he was. His shots were so stealthy, and turned out beautiful as well. I was blown away by close-up photos like me holding my husband's ring on his hand before putting it on him, that Aaron had gotten from far away. That kind of photo is touching and personal, what a truly unexpectedly beautiful result we got. All the photos were artistically done - nice angles, great lighting, and we could not have been more satisfied! Thanks Aaron and everyone at API.

Our venue, Wedgewood in San Ramon, provided the DJ for our wedding as part of their services. This is the company that the venue has picked to work with to provide DJ services. Since the price was included in our venue express, I can't comment on that. However, I'll discuss the quality of the service we received. Our only contact with the company in general was through filling out and updating our music questionnaire. We promptly received verifications from the staff that our questionnaire or update was received. They were also patient with our turning the questionnaire in late. Their replies to our email inquiries were quick. The questionnaire itself was complete and we liked that we could save it to return to it later. We also specifically asked what type of cd to provide to the DJ to ensure all our favorite music was available. A few days before the event our assigned DJ, "DJ Jason" called us. He had gone over everything we'd selected and wanted to verify or find out if there was anything additional. At the event our DJ was provided the music cd via our venue. However, despite it being in the requested format, the songs couldn't be played and had to be converted to a different format first. This took considerable time, although we were happy that the DJ was savy enough to be able to do this. Meanwhile, he played songs from our mix that he already had. He did a good job of selecting songs and similar songs to ours before our cd begun playing. I also applaud him for bringing everything and not being dependent on the promised cd. However, it was frustrating that the format they requested wasn't what they needed in the end. We were happy with our DJ's interactions with us, keeping us informed of everything, his ability to pick and play suitable dance music, his "reading" the crowd's music preference and mood, his announcements, general leading of events (toasts, bouquet toss,...), and timing in keeping the event moving along, but still consulting us on when we were ready for things to happen. We experienced no problems with the music system, microphones, volume, sound quality,.... They didn't even make that horrible shrieking sound at all. Our DJ took guest music requests and was always at the DJ podium giving our event his full attention. This DJ was fun to work with and knowledgeable about music and how to select it for a particular audience. Overall, we were satisfied with DJ Jason's service, expertise, and professionalism. We'd be happy to work with him again.

I recently had A Perfect Impression DJ at my wedding and my DJ Kyle did a GREAT job. Their office is very responsive and Kyle called me a couple of times before the wedding to confirm details with me. He dressed very nicely for our wedding and he kept the music lively and fun. He knew exactly when to play certain songs to suit the current mood of the party guests and when it came time to dance, he made sure everyone was having a blast on the dance floor. The only minor negative thing was that he forgot to announce to the wedding guests that my center pieces were up for grabs. I didn't want to take them all home so at the end of the night, we ended up letting the guests know via word of mouth that they could take home the center pieces. All in all, though, I'm very pleased with their service and I highly recommend them. :-)

Ben and Katie were great! They have a great eye for photos and very ready to catch moments. We had 2 photo days, we had they typical day of wedding and then we did a day after photo shoot. Ben is ablsolutely amazing with a camera. He sees things that the untrained or unexperienced would not see. The photos helped us relive the whole event and we even got a chance to see things that we missed. The day after the wedding was extremely fun. We had Ben and Katie for about 4 or 6 hours and we went around San Francisco taking photos, we even dragged our bridal party along, fully dressed!!! I was very skeptical at first about hiring a pro to do photos. For few hundred bucks, I was going to hire a friend to shoot the wedding and then edit the photos mhy self as I am very proficient at computers. My wife convinced me to go with A Perfect Impression we even upgraded all of the services. After seeing all the photos, I would always recommend that you hire a pro, especially A Perferct Impression. Just remember, you typically only get married once and photos are going to be what you remeber your day by. You may forget what the food tasted like or what music was played, but photos will always bring back your special day. This is one service that you should get the absolute best in and A Perfect Impression is the best!

A Perfect Impression is the preferred DJ for our wedding venue. It was a little confusing at first how they worked...they have a website, but we werent really referred to that as a tool and we were just a bit unsure about who contacts who etc. But once our DJ, Ken, contacted us everything was golden from there. Ken was great to work with, he calmed my nerves about trying to pick songs saying that I had as much time as I needed and that he didn't want music to be the thing I was stressing about. I eventually made my picks and he didn't mind waiting to get the final choices until only several days before. At the wedding he did an awesome job, he moved things along as needed and he played things on our suggested list, but also threw in some other great songs from his library. Overall, he was great to work with! If you look into using this company I definitely suggest Ken!

Our DJ was very responsive to our needs and made sure to have all our requests organized appropriatley. We had a blast and think he did a great job as our MC (we did not want someone too overbearing) and DJ. Overall happy with our service.

Again, this DJ was included in our wedding package with Wedgewood in San Ramon. I was too busy to really keep in contact with them during the planning process but they were pretty good about keeping me afloat :) The music was ok, they did play some of the songs we requested but I don't think they got my vision if you will. The music for the ceremony and dinner was great tho- just what I had planned.
